Greg Connor President & CEO Greg Connor is the President of Boost Motor Group, which he founded in April ’04. The original focus of the Company was as a Dealer Assistant for eBay Motors Canada. This role expanded quickly into the current focus of the Company as a full solutions provider to the automotive industry. Prior to founding Boost, Greg was a partner at RBC Capital Partners, where he was involved in all aspects of investing, including sourcing of opportunities, negotiating and structuring of transactions and actively managing companies’ growth. Prior to joining RBC Capital Partners, Greg was a founding partner of MM Venture Partners, a Toronto-based $250Mln fund and prior thereto was a senior analyst at Helix Investments. Greg has over eleven years of dedicated experience, both working in and also financing high tech companies. Prior to Helix, Greg spent eight years in the United States gaining a broad range of financial experience, including CS First Boston in New York, Trust Company of the West in Los Angeles, and Tandem’s Corporate Venture Fund in Silicon Valley. During his three years at Tandem, Greg was involved in all aspects of the investment making process, with a particular focus on finding and growing early-stage technology start-ups. A dual US/Canadian citizen, Greg grew up in Canada, attended Upper Canada College ('87) and The University of Western Ontario('90). Greg received his MBA with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurial studies from UCLA's Anderson School in 1995. Greg has four young children and is an avid mountain biker, having recently completed the 2005 Transrockies challenge.
